# Faucet (testnet)

Get testnet SVP from the faucet.

The faucet drips testnet `SVP` to any valid address on **SVPChain Testnet** (chain ID `2517`). Funds are sent by an on-chain faucet contract; the web UI is a convenience wrapper around it.

### How to use it

1. Open <https://www.svpchain.org/faucet>.
2. Paste your `0x...` address.
3. Submit. The transaction usually lands in the next block (\~1 second).

**Limit:** 1 request per hour per address.

### Verify it landed

Paste your address into the explorer and look for an incoming transfer:

Or query the RPC directly:

A non-zero `result` (in hex wei) means the funds are there.

### Troubleshooting

| Symptom                       | Likely cause                                                                                 |
| ----------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Faucet page does not load     | Verify the URL above. If `svpchain.org` is unreachable from your network, try a VPN.         |
| "Rate limited"                | You've already requested in the last hour for that address. Wait or use a different address. |
| Funds not visible in MetaMask | Wrong network. Switch to **SVPChain Testnet** (chain ID `2517`), not mainnet.                |
| Tx hash not found in explorer | Make sure the explorer is set to **Testnet** via the network selector.                       |
